Hello,

Our Mission
Help real adults spend time well - by making it easy to find the right activity, at the right time, with the right circle.

The Problem: Feeds vs. Friendships

The truth: most platforms are built to keep you on the screen.

Endless feeds, infinite scrolls, algorithmic nudges - great for ad minutes, not for planning your next hangout. Other “friendship” apps push you to meet strangers fast. Event sites expect you to know exactly what to search and how to filter. It’s work.

We think real life should be easier than that.
Friendships grow when it’s simple to say yes - and simpler to show up.

Our Simple Thesis

  • Time is precious. Especially time spent together.

  • Friendship is a practice. It grows through shared interests and small moments.

  • Loneliness is human. Feeling lonely is OK. But you don’t have to be alone in it!

  • Less friction, more doing. Good tools are just facilitators of real life experiences.

  • Local matters. The best plans are near enough and convenient.

Who We’re Building For

We hear this a lot: “Why 40s–60s? Why not everyone?”
Because this life stage deserves something built with intention.

Kids are grown or schedules have shifted. Careers change. People relocate, retire, rekindle, or grieve. Your circles evolve - and the tools should, too. We’re designing for the interests, energy, and goals of “real adults” navigating a new rhythm.

Everyone’s welcome to use CirclUp. But our product choices - activities we feature, times we suggest, the pace and tone - are crafted with 40s–60s in mind.

An Invitation

If you’re feeling rusty, busy, or just ready for better plans - you’re in the right place.
Friendships can be easier than you think!
